What is DFH?
Douro Film Harvest is an international film summit that will take place in Douro Valley region. Organized by Turismo do Douro, and with the support of Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e Porto (IVDP) and Comissão de Coordenação e Desenvolvimento Regional do Norte (CCDRN), it’s main goal is to direct the cinematographic industry spotlights to this beautiful wine-growing area, classified as UNESCO's World Heritage. The refined landscapes responsible for the production of the world-famous Port Wine joins to the prestige of a romantic films showcase, during five days completely devoted to the Seventh Art.

Where is the DFH?
The first edition of Douro Film Harvest happens on September 9 -13th and, in its first edition, it takes place simultaneously in four different locations. Lamego, Vila Real, Torre de Moncorvo and Santa Marta de Penaguião are the four regions prepared to welcome the film industry and lovers and to call the attention to the extended Douro potential as film set. Douro Film Harvest intends to attract the Seventh Art industry and its lovers. Refinement, glamour, truly unique landscapes and films are the best DFH has to offer to whomever wants to be an integral part if this first edition.

How can I purchase tickets to DFH?
The tickets to individual screenings will be available for purchase in the four places that will receive Douro Film Harvest: Vila Real Municipal Theatre, Torre de Moncorvo Cine-Theatre, Lamego Theatre and Santa Marta de Penaguião Municipal Auditorium. What awards are given at DFH?
The award is assigned by the public in Vintage Selection, a selection of the best romantic films produced by the film industry in 2008/2009.
