CastaDouro is Douro Film Harvest’s trophy, in honor of the wine region that welcomes this international film summit. The different species of grapes origin the most diversified wine production that includes, for example, the world-famous Port wine.
There are three trophies:

	CastaDouro Career
	CastaDouro Special Guest
	CastaDouro Best Film

This trophy gives honor to a personality with an important role in the story and development of the Seventh Art, not only in his country but in the whole world. Douro Film Harvest pays tribute to a distinguished person in the filmmaking industry and celebrates the best that has been done in this domain. The trophy will be given in Douro Film Harvest’s Closing Ceremony that will happen in the last day.

CastaDouro Special Guest is given to a special personality in the filmmaking industry with an important contribution to the Seventh Art. This trophy will be given at the Opening ceremony and marks the beginning of the event.

CastaDouro Best Film the official Vintage Selection competition trophy. There are eight independent romantic films in the competition for the Best Film award. In Douro Film Harvest, it is the public that has the decision to choose the best film. The winner will receive CastaDouro Best Film in the Closing Ceremony, after CastaDouro Career’s delivery.
